Two Thousand and Seventeen is here, and we all know that means everyone is about to clog up the gym trying to kick their bad habits – and fair play to them!
I am always setting myself goals to achieve throughout the year, however I too jump on the badwagon and set New Year resolutions. This year I have deicded to break down my life goals and set 3 new year resolutions.
Resolution 1 is all about saving money for my future. I love saving money if you hadn’t guessed already and this year I don’t see why I can’t step it up a notch. I’ve put into action the cash envelope system to cut my spending in half to achieve a healther savings account ahead of mine and Lloyd’s Wedding & new house as well as helping me achieve my goal of living a minimalistic, raw lifestyle.
In order for me to remain injury free, I am going to be working on my flexability and movement by taking on the 365 days of yoga challenge. Yoga really helps relieve any calf or quad doms (delayed onset muscle soreness). I experience from running and with the London Marathon looming and my attempt to run 2,017 miles in 2017 I am taking recovery seriously.
This year I am going to attempt to grow my confidence the natural way. I plan to not wear makeup for 365 days!!! This is going to be a huge challenege but hopefully I learn to accept that makeup isn’t something I need to hide behind. Of course, I am still planning to have my eyebrows shaped and tinited as usual – its mainly concealer I am trying to kick.
