Two weeks ago (how time flies when you’re busy) I was invited along by the ladies at Bourjois to their Christmas product launch in collaboration with GHD. I must say that I was so stoked that I got invited to a Bourjois event for the first time as I am such a huge fan, I was over the moon when I got to work with them this year, but to attend a press event was just as amazing. Anyway, enough rambling, let’s get down to business.
After a 10 minute hunt to find the entrance, I managed to make it inside the St Martins Lane Hotel, in Covent Garden to get my #24hourpartyready makeover. I was overwhelmed by the detail the team had gone to for this event, everything was head-over-heels fabulous and perfect for a pamper night in (I wish I had taken my Pj’s). We were more than spoilt by Bourjois, with not only having their latest products to swatch and play with, but we were also given the opportunity to get spruced up by the Makeup, GHD Hair and Nail team -all while getting personalised illustrations.
I have been excited about Bourjois Christmas Collection since I got a sneaky peak in HQ (these were the clips I cut out of this vlog, remember?) in September, but I was beyond happy to see another shade of their infamous Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick -Happy Nude Year- that I could add to my collection, alongside their 1 Seconde Mascara.
This may be (yes, this may be bias as they are my favourite brand) the best blogger launch of the year. I can’t fault one single thing, they even had Vegetarian friendly canapés! I have been playing away with the products, so look out for reviews, but for now here are some snaps of the event. Can you guess I had a good time?
