I can’t believe that we’re in the final month of 2014 – How did I miss the whole year go by? It occurred to me that in my two years of blogging I’ve never taken part in a group blog series before. Lucky for me, Megan contacted me to help run this years #countdowntochristmas series I was over the moon. Consisting of two blog posts every week, we are kicking of the series with a good old tradition – The Christmas Tag.
So here goes …
What’s your favourite holiday movie?
I don’t tend to have enough hours in the day to sit down and watch a film. Yet, I’m pretty sure every year I end up watching as much as I can of Santa Claus. Which one I hear you scream? You know the one where the Guy doesn’t believe in christmas, falls in love and magically becomes Father Christmas. They really are all the same aren’t they?
What are your favourite Christmas colours?
Does Glitter count as a colour? If so Glitter.
Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?
Funnily enough I was having this conversation with my driving instructor this morning, and on Christmas day I am a Pyjama girl. Christmas Day is the Sunday you can have any day of the week, and Sundays call for casual dress, no makeup and lots of food.
If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?
My Dad to say thank you, even if he does moan at me more than I deem fit.
Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Morning! Who doesn’t?! Mind you, saying that when I was younger (the age where you can get away with pretty much anything) I was always allowed to open one present of my choosing the night before to keep my quiet. The best Christmas Eve present was a tub of sequins.
Have you ever built a Ginger Bread House?
Until about two days ago no, but now for the purpose of #DIYcember on my youtube channel I have.
What do you like to do during your Christmas holidays?
Work, haha. I am a round the clock kind of gal, so I don’t tend to switch off for long over the festive period. One thing I do love to do is have lots of relaxing baths with candles and bubbles.
Any Christmas Wishes?
I have my fingers crossed that our house doesn’t get burgled again. For some reason, our houses have a tradition of getting burglars right before christmas – even christmas eve.
Favourite Christmas smell?
GINGERBREAD 😀 Gingerbread Cookies, Gingerbread Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Candles. The list can go on…
Favourite Christmas meal or treat?
If I could have bubble and squeak all year round I would. I just love the stuff. Boxing day lunch time I get too much pleasure out of mushing up all the left over veg and frying it like an omelette.
