I would choose a Chocolate Brownie over pizza any day of the week – and that’s saying something.
This year I was introduced to another great free-from recipe for Brownies that had five ingredients: 500g of free-from chocolate, 1 bag almond meal (basically ground almonds), 3 eggs and 225g of butter and 225g of Sugar (or agave nectar). It’s a quick simple fix for your sweet tooth, that will have you cooking a batch several times a week.
Make sure you preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease up your brownie tin before starting. Then simply melt the chocolate and butter together, gently over a low heat in a sauce pan. When that’s done add your beaten eggs and ground almonds into the melted chocolate mixture to combine.
Now you’re ready to pour the mixture into you tin, cook for half an hour. I warn you now it will be the longest 30 minutes of your life, but it will be worth it. Hey – maybe you could even start prepping your next batch while the first cools down.
